EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the stipulation of Applied Behavioural Evaluation (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was established by Wisconsin early autism indicators Autism Project (WEAP) in September 2006. For all specialists, a first training including 20 hours of classes and 3 weeks on hand-held training is called for prior to beginning collaborate with a child with autism after which normal fortnightly if not weekly guidance is supplied through normal overlaps and team meetings.
Furthermore, WEAP’s published research study in the American Journal of Dementia (November 2005 concern) was consistent with Dr. Ivar Lovaas’ research study in 1987 and 1993 wherein 48% of the children that took part in the intensive behavioral therapy were able to capture up and take part effectively in common college.
Each kid at EAP is assigned a team of therapists who are managed by a Supervisor on a fortnightly basis and an Elderly Supervisor on a bimonthly basis along with the WEAP Progression Reviews twice a year.
