Apple’s iPhone 8 may have 4k video recording at 60 frames per second

Yet more details have been released this week from the HomePod firmware that Apple accidentally disclosed, which suggest the iPhone 8 will record 4K video at 60 frames per second (fps).

Currently the rear camera on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus can capture 4k video at 30 frames a second.

The front cameras on both these models are limited to 1080p recording.

Previous leaks this week suggested the iPhone 8 camera may introduce Gamepad support GBA for a new ‘SmartCam’ scene selection feature.
